Platform Credits are a usage budget for things Runwork runs on your behalf: third-party integration calls (HubSpot, Slack, GitHub, and more) and agent sandbox runtimes. Most AI usage runs on your own keys (BYOK), so it does not draw down credits. You can track spending in real time from your workspace settings. Credits reset every billing cycle, and most teams stay well within their limits.

BYOK means bring your own AI keys. It is the suggested way to run AI on Runwork: your agents use your existing AI subscription or API keys, so AI usage bills directly to you instead of drawing down Platform Credits. The Desktop app installs and configures each teammate's AI tool to use those keys automatically. BYOK is optional, but it is the default path for most teams.

We'll notify you at 75% and 90% of your Platform Credits so there are no surprises. You can upgrade anytime, and your data is never at risk. If you need more capacity, upgrade to a higher tier for a larger credit budget.

No. The Desktop app handles setup for everyone, detecting each person's AI tools and connecting them to your shared workspace. Non-technical teammates get guided onboarding and coaching, while engineers can use the CLI. Adoption and training are built into every plan.

That is the hard part, and it is why Runwork includes adoption tooling on every plan. The Team Dashboard shows how AI-native each person and team actually is, adoption nudges keep people moving, and Share & Resume lets teammates hand off working AI conversations so good patterns spread instead of getting stuck with one person.

Yes! Additional seats are $29/month on any paid plan. Your included seats depend on your tier: Solo (1), Startup (3), Growth (15), or Scale (50).

Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. When upgrading, you get immediate access to new features. When downgrading, changes take effect at the next billing cycle.

We accept all major credit cards and can arrange invoicing for Growth and Scale customers.

Security is foundational to Runwork. We use encryption at rest and in transit, run on Cloudflare's enterprise infrastructure, and are working towards SOC 2 Type II compliance.
